"Authentic Ramen with excellent selection of high end starter and ramen options. Also several vegetarian choices. Great atmosphere combining the traditional Japanese style bar at the front with some more intimate seating in the back. Highly recommend."

"Tried our first Fukagawa Ramen at the Christmas market, in front of Konzerthaus Berlin. Have to say the food presentation was beautiful, and the way it fit into the market was super nice. Overall 4/5: We were super hungry and excited for hot ramen. But the service was super delayed, half (2) of us got our food and another half, 20 minutes later. Needless to say the food got cold (service could be a little less nonchalant about it:))). So it took away from overall experience. We tried Shio, Shoyu, and vegetarian ramen. The ingredients, especially chashu were super nice, the broth though was on the saltier side, and noodles a bit undercooked . Food 4/5. Considering that we tried it during the Christmas market, it's understandable that the service and the setup might not have been perfect, for that reason 4/5. Loving the approach and the esthetic of the brand overall. So, excited to give it another try in the future, next time in the restaurant"

"If you’ve read Asako Yuzuki’s Butter, you know it’s not just a novel. it’s a sensory obsession. It makes you crave that rich, yellow gold in a way that feels almost dangerous. I’ll admit it: I went to this spot specifically to chase the ghost of the protagonist’s dinner. I was looking for that exact, soul-warming Shio Ramen topped with homemade Koji butter. For the uninitiated, this might seem like a "super niche" literary pilgrimage, but for foodies, it’s a revelation. Here’s why this bowl lives up to the hype: • The Broth: A delicate, clear Shio (salt) base that acts as the perfect canvas. It’s light enough to let the butter lead without being greasy. • The Star Ingredient: The homemade Koji butter. Unlike standard store-bought pats, the Koji adds a deep, fermented umami funk that mirrors the complex themes of the book. • The Melt: Watching that thick slab of butter slowly succumb to the heat of the soup is pure food theater. As it dissolves, it transforms a simple noodle soup into a silky, luxurious elixir."

"Went for shoyu truffle ramen. Interesting combination. 25€. Normal shoyu ramen is 15€. It is nice to try truffle ramen if you never had it, but value-wise additional 10€ would not give you a big elevation. Shoyu ramen would taste as good. We waited more than 40 min after placing an order to get our bowls of ramen. If we knew, we would order more starters. Gyozas were really good."

"The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and an interesting layout, with a bar area in front and regular seating behind. At night, it has a minimalist appeal, though the bar stools felt cheap, and it’s somewhat awkward to ask other guests to stand up so you can reach your seats. The staff was a bit chaotic but genuinely friendly, and ordering took longer than expected. The homemade gyoza were outstanding, with a truly authentic, crispy crust. The chili wontons, however, would have benefited from the same silky wrapper used for the gyoza; instead, the dough was quite thick and chewy in a less pleasant way. Both the shoyu and miso ramen were excellent, featuring delicate broths and perfectly cooked noodles. The extra noodles were even better, as they came slightly more al dente. The only downside: ordering an egg gets you just half of one."
